Al Miftah is a committed festival that places at its core the love of the Palestinian people for their land, embodied by the symbol of the key, as an example of the struggle for liberation from all forms of oppression.It is a festival that speaks about Palestine through the bodies and voices of artists and activists, first and foremost Palestinian ones.It is a festival that imagines a world free from racism, colonialism, and exploitation.Al Miftah is innovative because it blends and connects theatre, dance, and music with other disciplines and political activism. It is radical because it gives artistic freedom to performers, celebrates diversity, creates spaces for dialogue, and encourages critical thinking. It is inclusive because it builds relationships and connections with local communities, audiences, and partners through participatory projects. It is international because it welcomes artists and guests from all over the world. It is creative because it offers unique and often unrepeatable events. It is sustainable because it is committed to reducing its environmental impact.

 

Rimini con Gaza is a collective based in Rimini and its province, working in solidarity with the Palestinian people and against colonial violence, racism, and Islamophobia.Our activities include demonstrations, public discussions, boycott actions, awareness campaigns, and the promotion of Palestinian and Arab culture. Every year we organize the Al Miftah festival.We support several Palestinian organizations, including the Women Support Centre in Nablus, a women-led initiative working for gender rights and economic independence, and Emergenza Gaza, a campaign of the REC Project that provides food and medical support to the population of the Gaza Strip.
